Vallejo acrylic paint has been specially developed for hobby and model making
There are various color series especially for the model builder, the wargamer, for use in the airbrush and various other specialties

Model Color is a color series of more than 200 colors especially for the model builder.
The paint has a high resistance to damage caused by scratches and wear.

The colors are easy to process and dry matte. The fineness of the pigment makes them perfect for both details and larger surfaces.



Different sets of model color are available, consisting of 6, 8, 16 or 72 colours

A range of waterbased acrylic colors, developed especially for airbrush techniques. The formula contains a new acrylic resin which offers excepcional qualaties of covering power, hardness and resistence.

Mecha Color, a new range of airbrush colors specially designed for painting robots, Gundam, Transformers and Gunplas figures. The innovative formulation of the colours, although water based, guarantees maximum resistance to manipulation, impact, friction, scratches and general extreme wear and tear. Once dry, the color appears the same as the original plastic color, respecting all the details of the kit.

Of course, these colors can be combined with all other color series

Game Color is a series of colors that occur especially in fantasy characters.
The color range is the same as that of Citadel. The paint has a high resistance to damage caused by scratches and wear. The colors are easy to process and dry matte. The fineness of the pigment makes them perfect for both details and larger surfaces.

Game Air is a range of water-based, matte acrylic colors, developed especially for airbrushing. In the formulation of this range various new resins have been selected for qualities which up till now had not been achieved in water-based colors. The strength, resistance and covering power of Game Air is superior to any acrylic airbrush color currently available and also allows for application by brush to highlight the smallest details of the miniature. The pigments have been selected according to their degree of light-fastness and optimum micronization. The effects of washes and transparencies can be obtained by diluting the colors; all colors and varnishes can be mixed together and diluted with Airbrush Thinner.

Game Air Colors
The colors in the range have been selected in collaboration with modelers specialized in fantasy figures and dioramas, and the existing colors in the Game Color range have been taken into particular consideration. The names and shades of the most popular colors of Game Color have been maintained in Game Air, using the formulation and resins employed for Model Air (see Equivalency Table). In the color chart we include a diagram of the most frequent color combinations: base color, light and shadow.

Fantasy color sets containing acrylic colors “Fantasy 8-Pro” formulated in collaboration with Nocturna Models and especially designed to paint all kinds of fantasy, wargame figures and “pin ups”.

A color system designed in collaboration with Panzer Aces Magazine for reproducing the colors of the uniforms of tank-crews and general armed forces in WWII. In order to simplify the method of painting the uniforms of the crew of military vehicles in the Second World War, the specialists on the staff of Panzer Aces Magazine have created a series of colours which coincide with the standard shades of these uniforms. All uniforms consist of a base and a lighter color for high lighting and grading. Three colors have been selected for the fleshtones, as well as a series of colors to reproduce the design of Splinter Camouflage, printed on many of the garments and canvas equipment of the German Army.

Metal Color is a range of 18 water-based metallic colours, specially designed for the airbrush. In the development of this new range, the latest generation of aluminum pigments has been used to create colors with great resistance and adhesion on plastics and metals. It can be used directly without the need for a primer, although in the case of aircraft model hulls and parts it is recommended to use a glossy Black Primer first to create a special quality aluminum finish.

Brilliant metallic colors made with real metallic pigments in an alcohol-based formula, resulting in a metallic finish of extraordinary realism and durability. The colors can be diluted with alcohol, mixed together to achieve further tonal variations and dry quickly on all kinds of surfaces. Brushes are cleaned with alcohol or with the Vallejo Brush Cleaner (ref. 28.900). Liquid Gold is flammable due to its alcohol content, but does not contain xylene or toluene.

The Vallejo Hobby Paint Sprays are a perfect combination of base coat and highly pigmented color, developed for use on all metal, plastic and resin models and miniatures.
The new original and unique AV spray formula leaves a perfect matt and self levelling finish, designed to respect and bring forth even finest details of the models and miniatures.
The Vallejo Hobby Paint Spray assortment includes 3 Basic colors, 19 Fantasy shades, 5 WWII AFV and 4 WWII Infantry colors.

The new Spray Colors are a perfect match to the equivalent shades available in the Game and Model Color ranges, so both painting techniques can be combined.
Each Hobby Paint Spray shows the original color applied on the colored ring around the top and is equipped with 2 different nozzles; one with a low discharge flow, especially recommended for fine lines and small details, and the other with a medium discharge flow, recommended for thicker lines and for covering larger surfaces; the low-pressure valve allows for excellent spray control.
The range is complemented with 3 different varnishes- Gloss, Matt and Satin- recommended for providing extra protection when handling your figures and to give them an overall uniform appearance.

AV PREMIUM is a safe water-based, non toxic and highly versatile airbrush ready paint, suitable for all surfaces, but especially formulated for superior adhesion to metals, fibreglass, polyethylene, clear Lexanª polycarbonate, slot car and RC bodies, and all tuning and automotive applications. Color Chart On some of these surfaces we recommend a basecoat of the Polyurethane Primer (62.601) for best results. Premium colors are flexible and exceptionally durable and permit prolonged exposure to weather without fading or losing their brilliance.

Premium colors have been formulated with micronized, permanent pigments and an extremely resistant, exterior grade hybrid resin-polyurethane base, which withstands impacts, resists chipping and cracking, as well as direct exposure to heat and outdoor elements without cracking or fading, and is fuel residue proof up to a least 35% Nitro.
All colors are as suitable for detail work as for covering large surfaces and can be applied by brush as well as by airbrush.

Vallejo Train Colors is a special range for use in trains and train weathering

Various washes are available in 17 and 30 ml

The Vallejo Pigments, a selection of natural earth and synthetic pigments, have been chosen for their permanence, their excellent light fastness, and for the extra fine milling of their particles, which facilitates the mixtures and their application on models and dioramas. The range of pigments includes a series of colors selected for representing the wear and erosion caused by the conditions of hard use and exposure on vehicles and buildings, to reproduce the dust caked on the tracks of the tanks, the rust on the armour and the wide range of effects caused by the climate and geographic conditions of deployment. Pigments can be applied in their dry form, directly by brush on the model, since they have excellent adherence; they can also be fixed in place with Thinner when used to portray dry mud or accumulated dust. With Pigment Binder, the pigments can be used to create volumes, such as accumulated dirt and mud. Painting tools are cleaned with water.

The different products of the weathering range, all composed of waterborne acrylic resins and pigments, have been developed to recreate the effects of time and weather on models and dioramas, so that they will look like their originals in reality. This includes the effects of spilled oil, splashed mud, lichen and moss on wood, crushed grass between the metal links of tank tracks, and all traces of wear and weathering of a vehicle in harsh and hostile climates.

Vallejo Scenics, is a new series featuring a first selection of diorama bases for the setting of 1/35 scale figures and vehicles. The substrates are prefabricated in a new and exclusive type of lightweight resin, which has a matt white finish, is easy to cut and adapt to different sizes, and allows sanding and painting as well as other weathering processes.

Vallejo Scenery is a series of miniature plumes that help complement your scenes and add more realism to the rendering in your scale models, figures, wargame terrains or historical dioramas.

• Vallejo Scenery contains a wide variety of formats and references.
• Ready to use by simply peeling off each tuft individually and placing it in your scene.
• Self adhesive to your base, although they can also be attached with PVA glue to get a harder and more permanent bond.
